AI Advances in Healthcare Technology

Do you want to learn from industry leaders how AI is being used in healthcare applications? Join us for a panel discussion at the Center for American and International Law in Plano. Our first event in our DFW AI Thought Leaders Forum was well-received, and this second event will not disappoint.

We will explore how AI technologies are enhancing the patient-caregiver experience, offering innovative solutions for improved diagnosis, treatment personalization, and streamlined care management. Our panelists will highlight real-world examples of how advancements in AI technology are benefiting both patients and caregivers.

As AI integration progresses, it brings forward a range of challenges and considerations. We will address the potential legal and ethical issues associated with AI in healthcare, including data privacy concerns, accountability in decision-making, and compliance with evolving regulations.

Dr. Steve Jiang is a leading expert in digital health and AI, serving as Vice Chair of Digital Health & AI and Division Chief of Medical Physics & Engineering at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He integrates extensive research with clinical applications to enhance technology in healthcare. 

Eric Rock is the co-founder and CEO of Percipio Health, dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery through innovative technology solutions. His work focuses on leveraging data to improve patient engagement and outcomes.

Josh Grob is the Vice President of Engineering at Pieces Technologies, Inc., where he develops AI-driven technology solutions to improve healthcare delivery. His strong background in engineering focuses on empowering healthcare providers and enhancing patient care. 

David Carstens is a name partner at Carstens, Allen & Gourley, LLP,  focuses on intellectual property law, with significant experience in healthcare-related patent procurement. He also teaches international IP law at Southern Methodist University, where he mentors future leaders in the field.
